WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE?

Church leaders in lifegiving relationship, collaborating to reach the 8 million people in Pennsylvania who have no church home.

If you’ve ever thought, “Am I the only one struggling to figure this out?” You’re not. We can figure it out together.

WHY WE EXIST

In Acts 18:27, Apollos proved to be a great benefit (or ADVANTAGE) to those who had believed. As the name implies, our heart is to be an advantage to church leaders across Pennsylvania.

We want to help you move beyond surviving, to thriving in your pastoral leadership.

WHO WE SERVE

We aim to serve the pastors of Gospel-teaching churches throughout Pennsylvania. We want to sharpen, connect, and collaborate to introduce more people to Jesus.

WHAT WE DO

According to a 2022 Barna study, 65 percent of pastors report feelings of loneliness and isolation. The Advantage brings pastors together in authentic communities of peers, where they find encouragement, creative ideas, and shared learnings.

This ministry is currently funded by the generosity of LCBC Church, it’s partners, and others who contribute to this missional effort. Our only requirement for participation is that Advantage partners “pay it forward” by investing in other Pennsylvania church leaders.

Created by pastors for pastors, The Advantage was born out of the shared dream of reaching the entire state of Pennsylvania with the Good News of Jesus. The founding members of The Advantage desire to see thriving churches led by healthy, well-equipped pastors.
