Every pastor is an interim pastor. Eventually, every church will face a leadership transition — and the transition process, or the lack of one, will deeply shape the church’s future. Good succession planning ensures the long-term continuity of the ministry’s mission, protects congregational trust, and prevents division during these inevitable changes. If you’re not already planning for succession, you should be! In this workshop, we’ll explore how to plan for succession and implement a process that honors the past while securing a strong future for the church’s ministry.
